(6-22-09) Scott watched an Osprey catch 2 fish in a neighborhood lake near 22 Mile and Van Dyke expressway at 9 A.M.
(6-30-09) Candi saw a cormorant(unusual water bird) sunning itself with wings spread in a neighborhood lake near 25 Mile Rd. & Shelby Rd.

(9-3-09) For several days in the front yard of a Shelby residence, multiple American Goldfinch were displaying what seemed to be courting behavior. A short video was recorded showing the birds engaged in this behavior.
